Kobelco Tree Lopper | Guarding & Cab Protection

This project showcases a custom guarding and cab protection package completed for a Kobelco excavator operating in demanding tree lopping and vegetation management applications.

Designed and fabricated by the Hardwood Forest Products Australia team, the guarding provides additional protection around the operator cab and vulnerable machine areas where falling branches, timber and debris are an everyday risk.

Each guarding system is designed around the individual machine and application, allowing us to provide a practical, heavy-duty solution without compromising machine access, visibility or operation.

Skeleton Bucket Manufacturing | Laser Cutting



This video takes you behind the scenes of an Australian-made skeleton bucket being manufactured by the Hardwood Forest Products Australia team.

The process begins with heavy steel components being accurately profiled and cut using our in-house laser cutting equipment, including the bucket sides, internal sections and head bracket components. Precision cutting at this stage helps ensure each part fits correctly during fabrication and provides the strength required for demanding earthmoving applications.

From laser cutting and fabrication through to welding, assembly and final fitment, our attachments are manufactured in-house at our Kilsyth workshop with control over the complete build process.
